The water absorption meter measures the specific gravity and water absorption of fine aggregate under the surface dry state. Compared with the traditional measurement of vertebral collapse, the instrument is labor-saving, time-saving, accurate and repeatable.

The current method of measuring water absorption of fine aggregate in the world is based on ASTM C-128 and aasht0 T-84. The current method for measuring the water absorption of coarse aggregate is based on the current American test standard aasht0 T-85, ASTM; c-127. The current measurement method is very dependent on the operator's personal behavior, which is time-consuming and laborious. In addition, the current method is not suitable for aggregates with angle and rough surface, and its accuracy is poor.

The water absorption measuring instrument developed by our company adopts patented technology and unique data processing method to sense the dry state of aggregate surface. After the aggregate reaches the surface dry state, the surface dry water absorption of aggregate shall be measured.
